Forming of solid pollutants from biomass

This bachelor‘s thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is research and deals mainly with biomass and pollutants. In this section, we will find a two-dimensional distribution of biomass, a comparison of fuel forms and a discussion of basic pollutants with a focus on solid pollutants. The second part is experimental. It starts with a fuel laboratory, where the water, ash and heat content of the biofuels examined is determined. The following is an investigation of the dependence of the PM formation on the properties of the biomass, which was measured by the measurement of these PM by the filters in the collecting device, while the examined biofuels were gradually burned on the fireplace insert.
Small hydraulic press for bio-briquet

The aim of this master´s thesis was the design of a small hydraulic press for bio-briquettes according to predetermined parameters. The theoretical part presents the current situation in terms of biomass processing, briquette production and a description of briquetting presses. The practical part deals with solutions and detailed structural design of the selected alternatives. Models and drawings were created in the SolidWorks 2011.
Automatic boiler for biomass pellets

The aim of this diploma thesis is the research of automatic boilers for biomass pellets and their burners, design of automatic boiler for biomass pellets which include calculation part and drawing part and technical-economics assessment for building in the end. Thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part deals with general information about pellets, automatic boilers for pellets, burners and the standard for boiler. In the second part the pellet boiler is calculated. In the third part the automatic pellet boiler is designed. The fourth section compares three possible variants. Comparison is done for economics and the user.

In the first part are characterized solid fuels, the individual kinds of solid fuels, properties, modifications and processing are described to finishing suitable form for burning. The second part describes individual biomass boilers for house heating. The last part of this thesis compares the selected biomass boilers from an economic perspective.

Vývoj kompozitního fytopaliva na bázi energetických rostlin

Hlavním předpokladem pro dodržení závazku České republiky produkovat 6 % energie z obnovitelných zdrojů je dostatek zdrojů energie a na druhé straně i dostatek spotřebičů. Projekt se zabývá zajištěním zdrojů energie. Cílem projektu je vybrat a navrhnout využití vhodných druhů a odrůd kulturních rostlin pro výrobu pevných biopaliv, optimalizovat složení za účelem snížení emisí a zlepšení palivářských vlastností. Určit vhodné rostlinné materiály pro výrobu pevných biopaliv. Určit technologický postup výroby pevných směsných biopaliv. Získat informace o mechanických vlastnostech směsných pevných biopaliv na bázi kombinace dřevních a stébelnatých materiálů, tj. odrol, otěr, pevnost, trvanlivost, aj.

Základním a nejpoužívanějším zdrojem je dřevní hmota, ale je třeba hledat jiné zdroje rostlinné fytomasy a její zpracování do formy použitelné v zařízeních určených pro spalování dřevní hmoty. Cílem projektu vybrat a navrhnout využití vhodných druhů a odrůd kulturních rostlin pro výrobu pevných biopaliv, optimalizovat složení za účelem snížení emisí a zlepšení palivářských vlastností. Určit vhodné rostlinné materiály pro výrobu pevných biopaliv. Určit technologický postup výroby pevných směsných biopaliv. Získat informace o mechanických vlastnostech směsných pevných biopaliv na bázi kombinace dřevních a stébelnatých materiálů, tj. odrol, otěr, pevnost, trvanlivost, aj. V roce 2007 byla zpracována literární rešerše, proveden byl prvotní výběr perspektivních energetických travin a jiných energetických plodin, byly provedeny chemické a fázové rozbory a stanoveny směsné poměry, vyrobeny brikety dle navržených složení.
